Yes, we've created a company that challenges norms and aims to provide women with a healthier alternative to traditional underwire bras, but Liseah is just the silver lining of an extremely painful life event. We think it's time to break it down for you.

I still remember the day Mum told us she hadﾠbreast cancer. It was aﾠhuge shock. My little sister and I were in tears, unable to find the words to express the pain that was tearingﾠour souls away. Weﾠonly had two weeks to say goodbye to her, it was brutal. Since we were fatherless, we were now completely alone.ﾠHow could this have happened?ﾠOur mother was young and in good health then one day everything collapsed.
I had to get answers...
I had to get answers.ﾠI still rememberﾠthat night like it was yesterday. A fewﾠweeks after Mum's funeral, I still couldn't let go of the cause of her cancer. Olivia tried to stop me because she said I was doing myself more damage than help, but Iﾠwas determined to get answers. So, throughout the night,ﾠI skimmed through all the recent studiesﾠsearching for causes that can beﾠlinked to the formation of breast cancer in women. Suddenly, after several hours of research, Iﾠdiscovered a studyﾠthat took my breath away.

Wearing an underwire bra for several hoursﾠsignificantly increases the risk of breast cancer. In fact,ﾠunderwires obstruct lymphatic flowﾠunder the breasts, resulting in an accumulation ofﾠtoxic substances and an increased risk of developing breast cancer. The doctor who conducted the study was Carlos M. First thing next morning, I was at her door andﾠwhat came out ofﾠit was aﾠlife-changing discussion. Carlos M. had made aﾠdangerous discovery for the lobbyistsﾠand receivedﾠtons of threatsﾠfrom the most importantﾠplayers in the lingerie industry. They did everythingﾠto stifle this newsﾠand finally made the doctor break down, who, for obvious reasons, refused to be filmed.
Olivia and I were both outraged...
Olivia and Iﾠwere both outraged.ﾠIt wasﾠnecessary to change everything. We had to do all we could to offerﾠa healthy alternativeﾠto women so thatﾠthey could avoid this disease. The lingerie industry wasn't acting, huh?ﾠWe will!ﾠThat's why we bothﾠdecided to quit our business studiesﾠto dedicate ourselves to a single project: creatingﾠa bra that is Sexy, comfy and most of all breast-friendly. I think we succeeded Liseah, I think mom is proud of us now...
